57·15 hours agoStory kind of buries what happened… asshole was reported doing this in 11/23. School officials did nothing, and they went on to victimize FIFTY girls in a school of about 600.
Nothing was done for almost a year(!) Parents found out in 5/24 and action was finally taken 8/24.
Parents demanded school officials step down, and they delayed doing that too…

I can say I finally had the option to move from an ISP with data caps (Comcast) to an ISP without data caps (Quantum Fiber) and since switching, I’ve had more outages in 2 months than in 10+ years on Comcast.
I’m sure it’s more the ISP than the data caps…
Edit: Just got up this morning, down again. 3rd time in 2 weeks.

Last time I was in I was very happy to see they ditched the “Nook” section.
They’re alphabetical here… alphabetical by author. That way all the authors books stay together.
Are you expecting it to be alphabetical by title?

The Wii was a console system for people who were unaware of or didn’t like console systems.
So if you’re in that co-hort, or an active Nintendo fan… yeah, it’s a great console.
It says a lot that the best selling titles on it largely came with extra plastic bits that are likely collecting dust now.
Full disclosure, I own a Wii, it’s hooked up and running and everything. Other than occasionally showing off the absolute insanity that is Muscle March, I really can’t think of any game on it I’d still play.
When anyone says we have no business bringing extinct species back to life, I’m just going to gesture wildly at the 35,000 year old kitten that died around 3 weeks old.
