The bill will be put forth "in the coming days," a White House official said. The bill is meant to address funding shortages reported after a brutal storm season.
I’m guessing this is so if/when Blue states have a major natural disaster, they won’t have to worry (as much) about getting funding during the next administration… which means it probably won’t pass.
