I’m not watching this because I don’t like spoilers but it’s gotta be good if they’re willing to post clips of it online.
Somehow I’m actually hearing about hype for this movie. I thought I was the only one, knowing about him from his appearance in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon on Disney XD I watched as a kid, but some people seem to know him from a recent videogame that I haven’t played yet.

This is a common type of trailer for studios. It’s literally just the first eight minutes of the movie, opening credit rolls and everything. There’s nothing to spoil, and it doesn’t mean it’s automatically any good

Don’t think it says that much about the quality, although they are at least confident that those 8 minutes are good enough to not scare people away.
Imo it is mostly a reaction to recent flops, particularly Joker 2, which might make particularly casual movie goers (which this probably aims at) more cautions. Kraven isn’t some household name, so they want to take out as much uncertainty as possible.

My introduction to Kraven was the 90s animated series. Since then I’ve read a bunch of comic runs with him.
He’s a cool character, but I don’t have high hopes for any of these Sony Spider-Villain movies.
His best story is that one from the 80s where he buries Spider-Man and starts pretending to be him. I can’t remember the name of it…
Edit: Kraven’s Last Hunt. 🤦♂️
