I went ahead and bought a bunch of indie games, picked up Darkchaser, Oxygen Not Included, and UFO50, and also grabbed Cities: Skylines. Got used to the launch prices of some AAA games, buying these discounted low-priced games really doesn’t hurt much.

I have too much of a backlog of games i haven’t played yet. I did not buy anything. Friendly reminder to play your playlist before buying a new game.
Yeah I got the steam deck in the early spring this year and am still trying to get through Witcher 3 and fallout 4. I have a handful of games I got for PC back 15 years ago on steam that I still need to work on after that
This is truth, although i did pick up Cities:Skylines. I’ve got to get through all the other Paradox games from the time they had the bundle sale
I’m actually here to just find out where i can get my own demi-dog…?
The blue demi-human vendor in Marbule. Not the guy at the entrance, the one you want is closer to the tavern, in an alleyway. Ignore the dog fighting arenas in the area. You aren’t high enough level to take on the entirety of The Mob at one time.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, Age of Mythology: Retold, Northgard, and Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order.
I did like Fallen Order. It’s not particularly challenging for the most part and it being compared to Dark Souls is overblown, but it definitely “gets” Star Wars.
Yeah, I’m a total Souls junkie. My favorite game ever was Bloodborne. I was on like NG+6 when I stopped playing it. That said, I never expect any game to come anywhere close to a Fromsoft Soulslike. There’s a reason they’re all called Soulslike, IMO; they can imitate, they can’t be a Souls game.
I bought it mainly because all my friends won’t stop giving me shit for not playing Fallen Order, and it does look interesting.
I’m gonna grab slimerancher.
You’re not alone, seems like the game has its moment now :)
Slime Rancher for $2 is 100% worth it! It’s one of those games where gameplay becomes kind of meandering once you’ve seen the sights and built the things, but it’s a very unique experience.
Just bought Riven, I’m liking it quite a lot so far. I see why it’s a classic. Love the feeling of being dropped into a completely alien world.
Great game! Just be glad you don’t have to swap the cd every 20 clicks. Riven was basically 1 disc per cutscene when it first came out and I remember getting very frustrated as a kid when I accidentally triggered an island switch and knew it’d be 10 minutes until I could get back.
I wanted to buy Age of Empires 2 but it seems it is not on sale :(
Tempted to get Hades for $10, but it’s a game that makes me angry.
If dying over and over again is what’s making you angry, turn on God Mode. The story is amazing. Without God Mode, I would have thrown it on the heap of games started that never hooked me. It was worth setting aside my pride to see a beautiful, intriguing set of stories and relationships unfold.
I kinda wish I had. Maybe I still will… 50 hours in I finally got my first escape and I now find I’m struggling to go back to it because it just keeps getting harder lmao. I just wanna tell Dusa how great she is.
I did turn on God Mode… still suffering. I suppose I’ve just gotta keep dying until I don’t, but I haven’t had the energy for that lately.
Haven’t bought yet but I’m thinking of getting Old School Rally. I played a few racing games that looked just like this when I was a child so the visuals are giving me intense nostalgia
I played this one and wasn’t super impressed with it. It’s fine but the levels are very simple and don’t have that dangerous rally style to them. It felt more like you’re just driving on casual dirt roads.
I like this game a lot. Played the Colin McRae and Sega Rally games as a kid, this game captures that feeling.
Normally play rally sims in my sim pit, it’s nice to have something very casual to play on Steam Deck
This game is fun! It’s still early access, but it is worth the regular price. There’s a decent amount of courses and the driving physics are fun. If you are talking about the old Colin McCrae games this will be your jam.
The DLC for Dark Souls 3.
Decided to give it another try after picking it up in 2017 and hating it, and for whatever reason, I like it now.
Im probably only going to get few newer DLCs for American Truck Simulator. Their price finally dropped to -50%
Let me know when they’re 75% off. I have have a hard limit of $60 when it comes to spending money on games. It used to be $50 but those days are gone.
Nothing, I got more than enough games left to play:
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 DLC
- Shadow Gambit DLC
- Tactical Breach Wizards
- AI2 Nirvana Initiative
- Unicorn Overlord
- Mario&Luigi Brothership
- Against The Storm
… and actually a bunch more I can’t even recall right now…
Man I’m the same. I have a couple hours screen time after work but often I’m tired an just wanna read a book.
I’ve only just started gaming again after a twenty year gap so I’ve got a big wishlist. I get excited about games that I want to play, buy them on sale - and then don’t have time to play them.
I started gaming when pong and space invaders were cutting edge. There’s just so much cool stuff out there these days, damn we’re lucky, I just wish I had more playtime!
The only thing I care about on the store right now is the factorio dlc, and that’s never gonna go on sale. I’ll probably buy that once I finish all the achievements for satisfactory.
Get it as soon as you can afford it. As you have already noticed, the price only goes up, and it never goes on sale. The people that made this game know that they made digital crack, and aren’t inclined to spread the addiction.

I can only recommend it. After about 60 hours I finally landed on vulcanus and I’m now experiencing the feeling of how it is to getting used to all of these long and complex Ressource chains.
After 60 hours I finally left Gleba. As soon as I got “home” had to head back to Gleba. Still stuck there. In the beginning I hate Gleba, now I love it. It gave me back the feeling of playing Factorio for the first time, running around and know nothing (and I I have over 3.5k hours). 10/10 would recommend the DLC.
After 200 hours I have a “factory” on Vulcanus, Fulgora, and Gleba. I need to redesign all four factories, including Nauvis, at this point to use Foundries, and Electromagnetic Plants at scale, oh and Biological Science Labs. I have finally started learning circuit networks and train scheduling.
I had over 3000 hours in the game previously, got all the achievements that didn’t require a time limit, and had beaten Pyanodon, SeaBlock, Bob’s and Angel’s overhaul, and several other overhaul mods that I don’t remember, but I never managed to fully finish Space Exploration because of randomly generated items, and a complete inability to comprehend how the old circuit network worked.
Space Age is absolutely the best of all the overhaul mods combined into one single expansion pack. I cannot wait to get to the Shattered Planet and find out what no one has shown yet. I’ll be weeks behind them when I get there, I’m sure
I impulse-buyed Atlyss. Never heard of it before.
IronPineapple played through the demo of that one for a video a couple months ago. It seemed like an interesting game that was a mix of singleplayer and MMO elements. At first glance it’ll look like a gooner game.
Baldurs Gate 3
