Try it at home, too. It takes 21 seconds to pee. It’s freakishly accurate throughout the animal Kingdom. My theory on shy bladder is that our brains know how long it takes, so when we take a while to start, everything compiles and we get nervouser and nervouser as we approach that 21 second limit.
I just use the stalls, but that’s mainly because I’m self conscious about my peeper, and I’ve seen enough cruising in the men’s room porn to be worried about Looky loos /s

Honestly, with what I’m genuinely concerned is going to happen, that would probably be preferable. Give everyone some notice, and we can escape the nutjobs by being homeless in California and New York instead of concentrated in camps in Florida and Georgia. I mean, it’ll inevitably make the blue state nation more conservative as they blame southern refugees for all their problems, but it’d still be better more than likely
Yeah, my brother is an elder millennial (43), I’m 33. It’s wild the different stories we were told about how our lives were going to be. If he hasn’t gone into the military, I doubt he’d be any better off then I am, and I am… Not doing great, financially.
It’s not about productivity. If that were the real goal then the entire system would be structured radically differently, given what we know now through actual research. The real goal is ensuring that workers do not have ample time or energy to collectively organize. Make sure they don’t have the time to even think about anything else, and you ensure they damn sure don’t have the time to rebel. The other goal is ensuring there are a significant number of unemployed people in terrible enough conditions to make them desperate, but not so terrible that they are incapable of working. That way if s few stray workers get a bug up their ass about organizing and striking, there’s a reserve army of labor in the homeless and unemployed communities that can step in and scab.
I lost my cat of 16 years at the end of last year. I’d had him longer than I hadn’t. He was the coolest dude, a highland lynx. A major goofball with zero balance, and all the chill. I still routinely see him lounging somewhere out of the corner of my eye, only to realize it’s a random bag or something. Breaks my heart every time. Same with all the pets I’ve lost over the years. They’re special in a way that non animal people will never be able to understand

No, it just simply doesn’t. Regardless of how many (how fucking depressingly many) people voted for him, how fucked this country is, no one deserves to live through a fascist regime. We don’t want housing just for the good homeless, we don’t think only women who are “responsible” should have access to abortions, we don’t think only Respectable Gays should have marriage rights. In the same vein, we shouldn’t want only the good countries, only the good populations, to be free from tyranny. 70 million votes for that asshat, 70 out of 350. This country doesn’t deserve this, because no one deserves this.
I’d invest in a drinking vessel with a lid, perhaps. And also, one of those zappers shaped like a tennis racket in case of dangerous critters. Or maybe one of the vacuum style ones if you’re more a catch and release type

Same. I try to keep a routine nowadays. Whack it before bed, as I am very single, and that’ll keep me out trouble most of the next day. Occasionally there’s one in the morning if there was a particularly spicy dream or something, but that’s about it
Honestly, it’s such a compelling point to made for why capitalism is a shit economic system. Regardless of if someone is compelled by communist/anarchist economics, at the very least it should be obvious that capitalism produces only the most profitable products, not the best products.
