Christianity takes in Japan is wild. It was an underground religion for a few centuries, which always makes things fun.

Startropics for the NES. It was made for American audiences and only sold and marketed outside Japan.
Not quite a JRPG but worth checking out if you haven’t heard of it.
If an influencer reads an Associated Press article, is that social media?
Damned turtles refuting conventional knowledge of space and time.
Only northern hemispheres exist.
They already banned a swathe of pro-palestinian political streamers in the run up to the US election, so this is likely retroactive reasoning.
There are a whole lot of folk that plain demand full support of genocide as the cost of doing business/having rights. Reluctance to support genocide is viewed as eroding the foundation to their very way of life.
Asheron’s Call hit up player housing early on too.
Compare to Brazil. They had a similar scenario play out with Bolsanaro. He was prosecuted and barred from office until I think 2030 for his stunt. It doesn’t seem controversial.
There was a whole era of gaming from the late 90s to like 2010 where like a couple developers made something special, left, and then the company coasted on the code for a decade.
For me it was the Company of Heroes series.
Squirrels aren’t a typical vector for rabies. There was no indication the squirrel was exposed to a rabies vector, like a bat, any more than a household pet or human.
It bit a NY cop though, that’s what happened.
If they can deny a genocide is occuring in Gaza they can deny that Bernie would have won with the same intellectual rigor.
All I ever saw were ads of Obama asking for five dollars. Everytime I saw it all I could think was “Damn this is going to piss people off.”
The final days and weeks the Trump campaign hit the swing districts saying all the things people had been asking Biden and Harris to say.
Biden made sure there was no question there would be 0% chance of course change. Trump, being Trump, could shrug his shoulders one day and decide to change course. Higher than 0% but still probably 0%.
Dishonest politics, but that’s how campaigns use issues to win elections. It sucks and we’re all in for the very preventable ride now.
Squirrels tend not to be vectors for rabies. I got shredded by a squirrel my cat brought in that I thought was dead. The doctor shrugged me off and sent me home with some antibiotics.
Squirrels don’t consume rabies vectors, so they’d have to be bitten by a bat with rabies first if they have it.
I actually kind of enjoy powerlines and junction boxes. There’s a level of engineering that is both rough and delicate that is magnified by how orderly and chaotic they are alike.
Now if the power lines are at the expense of a view through trees, that’d be more a bummer. Likewise if the trees remain that’s a hazard waiting to happen, which is also a bummer.
Buried lines and conduit pipe are preferable in most cases and share similar aesthetic characteristics.
The only reference I have for this was someone who I knew who rubbed said slime on herself for YouTube when she was 17 to build a following for when she turned 18 and started camming.
There’s a classic greek play, Lysistrata, that tells a tale of women refusing sex to get the men to end a war. It is notably a fictional account.
Essentially the reference resonates most with college educated (white) women.
Downstem is what we always called it. Pretty sure that’s accurate. Usually pretty cheap to replace.
