Summary
White male anger has repeatedly destabilized U.S. democracy, from defending slavery in the 18th century to opposing civil rights during the Cold War.
Today, this anger fuels support for Donald Trump, despite his authoritarian threats, legal troubles, and agenda that could harm the U.S. economy and global standing.
Trump’s appeal among white men reflects resistance to a multi-racial democracy, echoing past patterns where white supremacy was prioritized over national stability.
This anger now threatens to undermine the American democratic project once again.
I am sure that conveying these white men (and women) as oppressive, entitled villains in these articles or opinion pieces will help calm that anger and win them over. /s
They were already determined to be that way for life, or they wouldn’t have voted to be the bad guys from world war 2. Fuckin limp dick energy over here.
Well shit, these crackers must be really brittle.
If you apply strong constant pressure for years even steel will bend and concrete crumble.
Ah yes, decades of hardship and adversity has led to the systemic marginalisation in society of… checks notes… white men.
Mate how old are you? This is some 14-year-old-who-browses-gamersriseup tier shit. You made me chuckle, I’ll grant you that, but damn it’s pathetic.
No need to get rude, the point is that:
If you want group of people to be supportive for your cause then there are better ways than:
I personally hate the modern day identity politics and it’s polarising narrative and this goes for both the left and the right or “woke” and “anti-woke” sides. This leads to radicalization of some and alienation of more moderate individuals from both sides of the spectrum. I also think that exclusion, scapegoating and vilification can lead to people and their supporters accepting their newly given role as a villain and start campaigning against what they where initially for.
That’s insensitive. They prefer the term porcelain American.
