Is Bezos a Trump guy? He strikes me more as a Bloomberg guy
His logic might be that he gains little from a Harris endorsement, but could lose a lot if Trump wins and retaliates. It’s a cowardly, capitalist logic.
The best way to help Trump lose, which would keep him unable to retaliate, is to endorse Harris. But I suppose he also doesn’t want his billionaire taxes raised a few percent, which is a faint possibility under Harris.
He’s a money guy. Appearing completely neutral and an open question benefits him based on his availabile information. If that changes either way, that is when we will know.
Basically he’s a coward.
