Summary

Russia has reportedly recruited hundreds of Yemeni fighters to bolster its forces in Ukraine, promising high wages and Russian citizenship, according to the Financial Times.

Recruitment was facilitated by a company linked to Yemen’s Houthi rebels, amid growing ties between Russia and Iran-backed groups.

The move reflects Moscow’s reliance on foreign fighters to sustain its war effort, which has seen heavy casualties due to “meat grinder” tactics.

Similar reports have detailed recruitment of fighters from Syria and Nepal, alongside Russian reliance on mercenaries like the Wagner Group.

Yeah. What else? Gramma and the kitchen sink? And probably Tesla robots from Elon. Man, ruzzians are going to be the single most hated people in the entire world for allowing another Hitler to gain power…join the club, we got Trump! What could ever possibly go wrong?

Listen people, I’m about to go into my year end vacation time and every single time I ever take a vacation shit hits the fan in a mayor way.

I predict something terrible to happen between now and the next year. Could it be the official start of WWII? Could it be a nuclear tragedy? Oh man.

Yemeni citizens were promised high wages and Russian citizenship before traveling to Russia to be "forcibly inducted into Moscow’s army and sent to the front lines in Ukraine

“Join” is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the title

Are we still calling the child soldier-conscripting Houthis the good guys because they are against Israel or can we finally admit that just because you’re against a bad thing doesn’t mean you’re a good thing?

Nothing about Houthis but do rant off about the people standing up to Israel.

I’m not sure what you’re saying, but since my comment criticized both Israel and the Houthis, all I can think is you didn’t read it very carefully.

Either that or you have a very unrealistic and black-and-white view of the world where there’s either pro-Israel groups who are 100% bad or anti-Israel groups who are 100% good. I hope not, but my hope that people will not have trouble understanding that child murdering war criminals vs. genocidal regimes means everyone else loses whoever wins have been dashed so many times before.

Conscripting child soldiers are their current actions.

Which is why I condemn both them and Israel.

You, apparently, feel that they do not deserve to be condemned despite both putting children on battlefields and fighting alongside Russia in Ukraine because they also oppose Israel.

Meanwhile Western leaders are still putting their fingers in their ears going “Nah nah nah, this is a war between neighbours”

How many foreign nations need to out boots in Ukraine on Russia’s side before NATO wakes the fuck up to the fact that WW3 has begun, exactly? 10?
