Ok, I presume you’re American since you know how easy it’d be.
How far along are you in your plan for the general strike?
Tariffs on gun powder, maybe? On whatever metals make guns?
You’re lucky if researchers read the sources they cited beyond the abstract! Lol
Especially the half that didn’t vote
I played the first in like 2018. I agree with your assessment
Maybe that’s what makes millennials different. So many of the big scares ended up being big nothings.
AIDS was going to kill everyone… except it’s a STI, and now can be almost fully managed with drugs.
Weed was going to kill everyone and make everyone else go crazy… except it’s arguably less harmful than even caffeine, let alone tobacco or alcohol.
Y2K was going to end the world… except people put significant money and effort into solving it.
The hole in the ozone layer is growing… except we put regulations in place to stop it from growing and saved ourselves.
We managed to save ourselves, as a species, from all of these things. It wasn’t until 9/11 when we didn’t really know what to do and never really recovered from it as a society.
It makes sense that that’s often where people say the 90s really ended. And it’s a decent cut-off for when someone is Gen Z. If you don’t really remember 9/11 (and especially nothing before it), you’re not a millennial.
Most people don’t “get” poetry.
Did you channel your edgy 15 year old self for that? That’s incredibly arrogant and self absorbed.
Lol, that was what the study implied.
If I’m remembering correctly, one of the reasons that participants of the study rated human-written poetry more poorly was because it was “more difficult to understand”. Conversely, the AI-generated poetry was easier to understand.
And this is coming from someone who doesn’t read poetry, lol
Like I said, I think we should still have money. I just think the basic necessities should be guaranteed.
Nobody should have to do a job that’s horrible to them just because they need shelter and food.
If that horrible job needs someone, they need to offer enough money to be able to incentivize people to do it, and not just because the worker doesn’t want to starve or be homeless.
You can define a year range when searching the games

Why do you need Nintendo to loose? You wouldn’t rather Nintendo to tight?
I think the problem would be similar. The rich and powerful would be the only ones to profit off of inventions and innovations.
We still have indie game devs today. Imagine if any company could just copy an indie game and scale it up/polish a bit and get all the sales.
It doesn’t appeal to the masses.
Most people don’t “get” poetry. That’s why you don’t see many people sitting around reading books of poetry.
Many people would probably also choose a short story written by AI over one written by a professional author.
Heck, I’m sure comments written by AI generally get more upvotes than comments written by humans.
He could be the boss of the minor league. He doesn’t have Tyson’s status.
How many people would even turn up to work if it made no material difference to their life?
Maybe not the same jobs, but most people would. Human beings are wired to want to feel productive.
I don’t think we should be abolishing money or anything, and different jobs should pay different wages. Still, I think all people should have their basic needs met.
Yes, because knives and vehicles were invented and designed to kill things…/s lol
Definitely. It’s not even about defending Nintendo.
I hate people who try to profit off of privacy when piracy is available for free.
It reminds me of my university days when people would be selling PDFs of course textbooks…just email a copy of the file!
Hmm…is Reddit selling email addresses, or were they compelled to provide them by law enforcement?
Sorry, I’m not American.
But you’re just starting now? How would you know how easy it is or isn’t already?
