addendum: I’d like to use Matrix (via the Element client) and Signal more, but most of the people I know are on Discord and WhatsApp instead.
Resprite doesn’t seem to be open-source when I look it up.
Damn, I didn’t know Screenbox exisited. I’ll start using it on my Windows desktop

Eh, that’s not what I use a VPN for. It’s mostly to access stuff blocked in my country, and that includes some NSFW subreddits
From my experience, accounts that are made with a VPN are shadowbanned. Using pre-existing accounts with some significant activity will be fine though.

The UBL app isn’t listed, hope it’ll work 🙏
Not me unfortunately … I used to have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ with an unofficial port of LineageOS. Nowadays I’m using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with the stock OS.
Maybe a Pixel should be my next phone, so that I get proper support for most custom ROMs.
Same in Pakistan. People tend to use a lot of English words in Urdu, even when an equivalent native word exists. For example, the proper way to say “What’s the time?” is “کیا وقت ہوا ہے؟” (“kiya waqat hawa hay?”). But a lot of people will say “کیا ٹائم ہے؟” (“kiya time hay?”) instead. But of course, there are also loanwords such as “واشنگ مشین” (washing machine) and “کمپیوٹر” (computer).
Yeah, that’s where I pulled it from.
