A penny pillaged is a penny earned
A penny pillaged is a penny earned
That figure’s come down significantly since the age of vikings though
Yeah, if we start listing all the things he’s going to negatively affect, we’re going to be here for a very long while
Whoa there buddy, you’d better ease up on those pragmatic and reasonable opinions there! That’s far too rational for round these parts. ;)
I think it’s going to be increasingly difficult to not pull your hair out over the next four (at best) years. I remember breathing a sigh of relief when Biden got in, not because I agree with his politics (I’m not American and don’t live there either), but because I was so tired of looking at whatever the orange idiot had done the day before and thinking “why would you do that”?! This time will be worse.
I hate how stressful it is for everyone else in the planet when the world’s largest economy is being run by a toddler
I mean, it’s already half way there, all they got to do is make it funny
I had to look him up. Seemingly,he’s a cheap ham mannequin in a bad suit, and using the word “personality” in connection with him is really stretching it past the point of credibility
Give a different spin to saying “come home covered in glory”
No, he genuinely has a face like an ai-generated thumb. He’s the kind of prank bellend that’s going to get shot eventually, and absolutely no one will care, he’s a gimp
If only there was some recent example of a western country doing something stupid like this that isolates its self from a major chunk of its agricultural workforce, and really screwing over its fresh food supply… (Politely clears throat in post-brexit British)
That’s the trade off for a larynx capable of speech
Close enough for the girls I go out with
As Yoda says, “start or start not, there is no try 14 times and then the problems randomly fixes its self just as the killer breaks the windows or whatever”
But also worth remembering that kid who made a nuclear reactor in his shed. Ai wasn’t around back then, but if it had been then, maybe, juuuust maybe….
I’d think that the smart ones will desert as soon as they can
That’s what she said!
Aha, I lose. I was literally about to comment “urge? He’s the damn president, he should be doing more than urging them to look at it!” until you made me realise it wasn’t the Georgia that has to listen to him
That’s the most useful thing anyone’s said so far, thanks. My current mini is hard enough to get at, as it’s under the back of the desk, so I’ve used this, as even though the power button is in a vaguely accessible place, there computer isn’t. Why would I want it taking up room on the top that could be used for synths I can’t play, and coffee I haven’t drunk?!
Ah, if I used a Mac keyboard then I’d probably have known that. I generally don’t really like Mac peripherals, I’ve got a full size mechanical keyboard and a thumb wheel mouse. I get that it’s not an insurmountable problem, but there’s only one face out of the six that you can absolutely guarantee isn’t going to be immediately accessible, so why put the only button on the whole machine on that face, as opposed to next to all the I/Os?
It looks like the foot/base bit isn’t tall enough to get a finger to the button without lifting the thing up. That seems daft to me. You’re having to move the whole unit about to push a button
It’s just coincidence that every country that’s even vaguely close to the US has a huge problem with American guns in the hands of criminals. Couldn’t possibly be related
