  • Fascism is like fire. It can spread, but ultimately it destroys the things it needs to keep going. Trump will try and use minorities and Democratic leaders as kindling to keep it going as long as possible. A saving grace for the US is that fascists never voluntarily give up power and so Trump’s death will likely result in some reconciliation of how we would like the constitution to actually function. Will there be enough political will to change that? Probably not.

  • Try flipping the image, our faces and expressions aren’t perfectly symetrical. That being said, if you like it then flip it back before posting it. People are used to seeing you, not the flipped version you’re used to seeing… There’s some evidence that zoomers aren’t as bothered by this because a sizable chunk use their ph9nes as mirrors and take more photos for Snapchat and similar apps.

  • Leave it up to moderate liberals to roll over and die. Way to signal his kingship guys, fucking top notch pick, that Merrick Galand. To think this ineffective dipshit was considered for SCOTUS. Literally a direct historical correlation to the rise of Hitler through ineffective and complacent liberalism from the socialist party. I guess when you construct a DOJ that doesn’t prosecute billionaires the whole thing short circuits when the tyrant is one… who could have predicted that except every leftist and historian?

  • They definitely are low information voters. When people hear things they don’t like from people they do like, they always assume it’s not going to hurt them until it actually does. This might eventually work if they heard it enough, but they never will and don’t care enough to pursue the information on their own.

In terms of the old white man thing, I think it’s fair to say that while people say they don’t want old people running, what they really mean is old people who aren’t all there. This should eliminate Trump, but he’s never seemed all there and he’s had a more shallow decline than Biden. Bernie doesn’t meet this qualification because he’s still as sharp as ever. Biden’s decline was shockingly fast and even turned liberals away despite his government still operating

I did get the very strong vibe from undecided voters that they really wanted to vote for Trump but couldn’t tell anyone the reason was racism or sexism because they care too much about their image with liberals or their own self-image.

That all being said, a trending search term on election day was, “Did Joe Biden drop out?” So clearly, the low information problem should be doing some heavy lifting in our conclusions.
