You didn’t.

You got me bro.
I’m a secret Trump shill encouraging local mutual aid and how the Democrats could/should have won.
Hey, if you get your way me and everybody like me won’t be a problem anymore, grats on the dub.
Someone who hasn’t lived in a red state as a trans person or with a trans loved one.
Lol love the smoke. I voted for Harris, even encouraged my irl friends and family to. I just think that tacking to the right is insane.
Cheney’s the one I happened to hear the most about and they’re all shitbirds, but go off about the misogyny.
I’m the parent of a trans kid, I’m at a real risk of being chased out of the fucking country right now or maybe just thrown in jail, based on the chitchat around the watercooler now by both Dems and Rs. I’ve already been chased out of one home by bigots empowered by these pieces of shit.
I absolutely didn’t want Trump to win. His win emboldens right wing terrorists across the country.
My criticisms are genuine and valid. I’m describing to you the things that put people off with less to lose than people like me and the people I love. The Democratic party deserves to burn for this, but instead they’ll all be #resistance and send out more fundraising texts while the rest of us suffer. The lesson they’ll most likely take from this is the one people like you seem to be taking “we can’t run a woman because misogyny and we need to start burning leftists because we’re not right wing enough.”
This is absolutely untrue.
Dems should have just used more charts that show how actually you’re not paying more for groceries and making less money adjusted for inflation.
They also should have just had Kamala drop out and replaced her with Liz Cheney, that would have gotten the moderate vote.
They also should have shamed the people who don’t like funding wholesale slaughter around the world more, these are jobs we’re talking about here!
“The big we” isn’t some amorphous blob online or something organized by some national group. It’s your trusted friends, family, and neighbors.
No, nothing was ever stopping political or business swamp creatures. That ship really sailed in 1980. Or in the early 1900s. Or in 1860. Or in 1776. Take your pick.
Decentralized groups of people just trying to help each other out is how we rise out disasters when there is no help coming. Whether that disaster is natural or man-made. It doesn’t really matter whether or not you believe it, it’s empirically evident.
If you’re looking to the drudge report for resistance, you were always going to end up disappointed.
The resistance is out your front door. Touch grass. Get involved in local mutual aid groups, find the people doing good things in your community and help them.
NO ONE IS COMING TO SAVE YOU. WE PROTECT US.
They’re getting used to the taste for when the only thing that’s safe to eat is boiled shoe leather because the FDA and the USDA have been completely eliminated.
Non-zero chance there’s lots of Fuentes fans amongst that group. She’s probably already getting a bunch of death threats virtually, why would you want that in person as well. Especially when you know that as things are dragged out through the legal system it’s not going to end up mattering anyway because that flavor of person doesn’t appear to have legal culpability for anything.
Doesn’t bode well for the future.
“per my last email” = you’ve critically failed your reading comprehension check and I’m real tired of holding your hand on this, which is why I’ve cc’d your supervisor.
In response to that…
“Elon Musk sure seems… Dumb…”
Mmmm Republicans giving us repression?
I’ve always had to drug test exactly once for my jobs. I feel that it’s probably different for retail workers.
This feels like it attacks the problem at the margins. How is this approach more effective than direct dilution of power and flattening of hierarchies?
It’s almost as if fascism and unbridled capitalism have some kind of a mutually beneficial relationship.
Weird.
I feel like everyone forgot what happened last time.
People in unmarked vans with no identifying patches or badges, just fatigues, grabbing people off the streets at night in the northwest.
Even worse than the official fascists, the unofficial ones who were emboldened to act with impunity, riding into cities and inciting violence. Attempting to run Kamala’s bus off the road in 2020 in Texas.
Dems run like they want to lose. Always conceding the arguments of the fascists. Touting the endorsement of monsters like Dick Cheney. The kinds of monsters who made the Republican party what it is today.
If “senior democrats” actually gave a shit about avoiding conflict in the US, they’d actually be fighting for universal voting rights and eliminating FPTP voting.
The Pope?
Believe it or not, also Hamas.
She should lean harder into supporting the genocide. That’ll help.
“Though it’s impossible to say what the Supreme Court may ultimately decide, history and precedent isn’t on Trump’s side.”
