I am OK with shitty companies washing their hands of it by letting it be freeware.
In fact that’s my preferred way for them to do it. Way better.
I guess they see GOG as a rival storefront (we know Epic love their exclusives), but the IA isn’t potentially taking their business. Maybe, who knows?
