Kentucky tried to do something similar via a constitutional amendment this election cycle, but the voters soundly rejected it — in one of the most conservative (and religious) states in the country.

Nobody wants this, except for the conservative policy makers attempting to create the next generation of brainwashed youth.

Christians know that getting young kids to believe (brainwashing) is the only way they survive. They really are the ‘let’s shove it down your throat’ people. Religion is just a bunch of made up stories, and bad ones at that.

Right wing “Christians” aren’t concerned with the stories or messaging in their own religion; they don’t even read the Bible.

They join specific churches because they find common ground with others who are eager to share in their hate. Naturally, an empty suit, fake Strongman, actual conman like Trump can easily convert them to his cult, as the Church has already primed them psychologically.

Zero Federal funds should go to any religious institution. Zero.

Nope. That’s the voting results from Springfield, Ohio’s district. That’s the district with 20,000 Hatian immigrants in it that they said were welcomed and beloved members of the community that revitalized business in the city…and then voted 2:1 to have them kicked out.

I think they mean the voters you mention may well be different people to the people talking to the news or whatever about how they’re welcomed, beloved, etc.

One loud voice isn’t representation of the entire district, etc.

This is very true, but you’d think that in a district that voted nearly 70% to deport them, you’d also get at least one loud voice speaking against them. Either on the news, social media, Youtube, wherever. This is why I believe that at least some of them went on TV or talked to the pollsters preaching about how much they love the Haitians because it was the politically correct thing to say, then went right to the voting box and voted Trump.

Not yet. His cult only controls the House for a while yet.

If they wanted to and were willing to treat it as the emergency it is rather than insist on constitutional norms, the Biden administration and the Senate could get a LOT of things done before the fascists take the rest of the government and destroys everything good while boosting everything bad.

Fascist kakistocracy is months away and, other than a few press releases, they act like it’s business as usual.

Yes, finally the public will have a say as to what gets taught in these private schools. We can ban all their books.

But now they have the President, Congress, and SCOTUS on their side, so I highly doubt anything will be done about this.
