One day: “Honey, where’s the dog?”
One day: “Honey, where are you?”
Ball pythons are just so god damn cute, I love those puppy faces.
Why my food on fire?
My grandfather used to sell frozen rats and mice to pet shops and zoos to feed the snakes and birds of prey. He sold live ones, too. It was fairly profitable. Was able to build a nice house because of it.
Plot twist: That’s a window.

They sell pre frosted, killed mice because if you feed adult gerbils or hamsters to your snake, their stomach might not handle it well
And if it’s not a clean kill, the rodent can scratch and bite and give the snake an infection or a missing eye.
There’s no good reason to feed live prey if the animal will accept frozen.
