If you type in “predator catch” your search results will be a lot of corporate/‘official’ stuff, but next to no indie catches. Oh but you might find a skeeter Jean video without searching the channel name.
You use to be able to discover new channels all the time, now Youtube sucks so hard at search results I have to recommend Rumble because it’s the only platform that actually shows creators content as they intended it to be shown.
I’ll keep that in mind when I search for that? Really important to me being able to search for indie catch a predator channels since they don’t at all make it more difficult to impossible to actually prosecute the predators…
Why is this even something you are searching for? What a weird way to advertise for Rumble
I’m not specifically advertising Rumble, but I am upset with YouTube for making these channels harder to find. I have to specifically type in names of the channels I remember watching, there is no luck finding these channels just from scrolling on search results on Youtube. These types of channels aren’t even right wing. the only easy way to find them, is to watch them on Rumble.
As for why I would watch them, as a role model. There have been many attempts from many of the longer laster channels, to work more closely with law enforcement, and they had had a higher arrest rate then before when they were newer at doing the catches.
The fact you believe you have to say they aren’t right wing makes me extremely confident you are lying like every other time somebody says that under suspicious circumstances.
I’d have been happy to give you the benefit of the doubt on advertising for Rumble but you have made it clear through your responses to others that you are either being paid or are extremely delusional like all right wing people who use “alternative media”.
You don’t have to make an argument that YouTube sucks. The majority of us are here because Reddit went to shit. Video hosting happens to be astronomically expensive making YouTube the only choice up until something like Amazon wants to compete for some reason. FreeTube and friends don’t work because it’s prohibitably expensive (if you want to agure talk to me when there’s at minimum 1TB of video uploaded per day which is nowhere near the amount uploaded to YouTube), and Rumble is trying to hide all the blatant Natzi shit that nearly all their users watch going from their own popular/trending section. If Rumble feels like moderating it’s platform by banning Nazis (whatever advertisers they manage might catch on to their poor obfuscation of the fact that’s 90% of their watch time) then we’ll see. As things stand Kick, Rumble and all the other shitty “alternative media” is infested with Nazis which is the explicit point of the platforms. Go advertise on some 4chan Natzi boards instead of lemmy
Predator catching channels have little to do with alt right movements actually. Them having another outlet, is my main reason being on there. if they were on Peertube, guess what i’d be saying use Peertube. but they’re not.
You sound like a danger to children.
How do I sound like that? Feel free to explain.
Brand new account, shilling for Rumble, under the guise of free speech (which Rumble does not offer). Hmm, really paints a picture.
Where’d you get banned from, and what did you say to get banned? C’mon, just tell the story you’re clearly wanting to tell.
I really just want my predator catching videos back on Youtube. It’s the only reason i’m touching Rumble. I don’t even have an account on Rumble. My Youtube account has not been banned.

I been baring this inconvenience from YouTube for too long. The algorithm is replacing indies with the corporate news and official sources.
By them doing this, don’t think you won’t be next just because it’s something you don’t necessarily want to deal with.
k bye clearly no one here likes predator catching videos.
YouTube is deplatforming vigilantism? Good.
These channels almost always, if not always, end up calling law enforcement and getting actual arrests, by providing any evidence they obtained directly to law enforcement. While I can’t say they all are perfect angles. What a way to just assume a whole group of YouTube ‘creators’.
What are you talking about? Vigilante YouTubers have notoriously been a detriment to police investigations because of how rarely they actually cooperate with law enforcement.
The predator channels, they gather evidence when talking with them through text messages, and video interactions in their videos are eventually handed to law enforcement and with that, law enforcement may or may not make an arrest.
