I would argue it’s more misleading to not adjust for inflation.
That’s completely understandable, but the title should be just that. Oversights like this lead to a distrust in the media/government because the mixed messaging. People see cost and think price; which is not saying the same as cost adjusted for inflation.
People are dumb. I am person.
