I get the sense of humor about it, but this was somebody’s grandparent, their parent, their spouse. That’s what I meant by inconsiderate.
And to be frank, I almost did the same thing when I read your headline. I thought he was making a different kind of final trip, and almost made the joke well at least it’s not to the morgue.
But I thought better of it, and then when I actually read your post realized you had went through with it.
Same dark sense of humor. I just paused and considered that it’s not cool to joke about people dying. Especially in public spaces where someone could feel hurt by it.
