Usually such things have a simple explanation. systemd does a lot with time and date, for example scheduling tasks. It’s quite obvious that it has this capabilities, when you think about it.

If its true it is a big “achivement”, but it still did not broke RSA.
One could make a similar argument with Google (Android/ChromeOS).
The systemd debate is basically dead. There are very few against it, but many accept it by now. Just avoid phoronix forum and some other places.
2025 would be the year of Linux, if we could finally agree, that:
- Fedora,
- rust,
- systemd,
- wayland,
- pipewire,
- gtk,
- Gnome,
- nano,
- flatpak, and
- light mode
is the perfect stack of technology and configuration and that we do not need anything else. But no, you guys just had to disagree, and here we are …
