What company could actually afford to buy it other than Google, Meta, or Amazon? Unless they are forced to sell it at a loss, which is fine with me.

Huh, I’m currently having the same issue with a few DVD .iso rips. Just audio plays, no video. I might have to try the flatpak.
Sorry to hear about your experience. Are the forums moderated at all? All I see is people being terrible to each other. I also saw someone requesting a Brazilian Portuguese translation for a game and people calling them a fucking idiot and telling them to learn english.
The steam forums are fucking cancer. I was looking for info about a bug I was having with a newly released game. I instead saw an entire thread about how the game is woke and you shouldn’t buy it. The game has an implied lesbian character. Who gives a fuck? The game was pretty good btw.
Any professionals or enthusiasts who give a shit about sound quality used wired headphones. At the same time, I wouldn’t be using the lightning to 3.5mm adapter. I’d use an external DAC. There are lightning to USB-B cables for this purpose.
banger
Have you tried Libre Office? It’s an open source Microsoft Office alternative that works pretty great. You can try it on Windows.
I’ll admit I’m biased because I think Cinnamon is ugly. Most people seem to like it and I get it. I just wish Mint hadn’t abandoned the KDE edition. Mint is definitely a great choice though.
Mint is fine, Kubuntu is also great.
I hate GNOME lol, I wouldn’t be using Linux today if I had stuck with Ubuntu. If you like it, that’s cool. I respect it, I just can’t stand using it myself.
Why is this taking off but not Mastadon?
I know, I mean I don’t want to stroke Tim Sweeney’s ego. Also, I just don’t trust the company.
Windows XP is the last version of Windows i’ll ever use. I actually have XP running on a Thinkpad T-420.
Don’t use Vivaldi.
What about instant coffee? Arch user btw
But that would require me to use the Epic game store.
Don’t use a computer, go outside.
I am using the open source amdgpu driver. It’s the one that’s built into the kernel. I have tried multiple different versions of Proton both official and unofficial. I think this game is cursed to never work without trippy menus.
Can anyone recommend a peer tube instance worth trying? Preferably one that allows registration.
