It abused dark ux patterns to an extreme as well as engaging in a lot of psychological abuse to extort money from users.
So did Valve but apparently that’s fine.

Because half the way they operate now is solidly based on doing the opposite of what valve is doing.
They wont support Proton because its made by Valve and little Timmy hates valve.
