Time to pull the old PineTime out from under the bed and throw it on the charger. Probably still won’t be usable, but always fun to try new firmware. Thanks for the heads up!

The update didn’t bring mind-boggling features so far. But I still like to wear it daylie, but I only need it as a clock, alarm, and notification system, so my needs are already fulfilled.

Thanks for that. I worried it was something worthwhile that I’d just forgotten about in the mind-boggling meantime of “almost a year” since last update.

Im glad I got my Bangle js 2 cause the pinetime was really glitchy and the software was slow to update. Not surprised its been a year.

Its really cool and much more customizable than pinetime, I use android so for example there is a custom version of an app called gadgetbridge that comes with enhanced functionality like an appstore type experience for it.

        software manager settings

Then you can do the setup on the device to customize even further. Its a lot to explain and too much to show here but its hugely more flexible than pinetime was in my experience.
