A new report suggests that some of Xiaomi's 2025 smartphones might be powered by an own-brand chipset rather than one from MediaTek or Qualcomm as usual. The OEM has tried to develop its own silicon in the past, although it seems to be serious about the project this time. The processors might also feature in Xiaomi's next-gen electric vehicles (EVs).
