Panel 1: It says here that cats accompanied humans…

Panel 3: you’re welcome
Macanudo is an Argentine daily comic strip by the cartoonist Liniers. It has been published since 2002 in the newspaper La Nación. It appears on the last page of the paper. Macanudo is published in newspapers and book collections in several countries.
I impressed myself by being able to understand this comic with my extremely basic knowledge of Spanish.
I’m currently a month into learning Spanish and all I got was cat, nothing on second panel and you’re welcome in the third.
Let’s see, what exactly did I get…“say that cats accompany humans more than 9500 years.” “You’re welcome.” The shared Latin roots of “accompany” and “humans” making them very similar in both languages helped a lot.
